Nice picture!

And a very appropriate way to 'bump' the thread!

Nice to see that your heart's in 'the right place'! Good luck to you and the soon to be mom.

Thanks guys ☺ the weekend away was relaxed and very chilled, time for us to gather our thoughts and spend some quality time together. Although the temperature getting up to high 20s low 30s was a bit too much at times...

@tw - I wasn't expecting such a humorous response. Your delivery was impeccable.

Getting close to the due date now, and Lis is officially on holiday from work ;)

Finished off painting the nursery, which is a slightly bigger canvas than I'm used to - but we're both happy with the results :)

Not the best pic, as it was taken by on the tablet - but you get the idea...

Now we're on countdown mode, so if I don't post for a while you'll all know why :)

Nice man, it's not to shabby at all. The three monkey isn't because you are expecting triplets is it? I wish I'd had the time to do some thing like that before James arrived, as it was I had just enough time to put a coat of paint around the whole house to freshen things up a little.... Damn lodger not moving out on the agreed upon time! I think the last few weeks of waiting are the worst time seems to just stand still. Anyway good luck to you both and I hope you guys have a smooth ride.

Thanks m8

Nah, there's only one on the way - I think we'd freak out if it was two, let alone three! We've only managed to get a lick of paint on her room / nursery, but there are plans afoot to work the way round the house gradually O_O

We're officially into last week before due date now, and although Lis hasnt had any major twinges, she keeps saying that she feels like it's almost time..... On a plus, the bags are in the car - along with the car seat - and everything is pretty much ready in the house, we think :)

A smooth ride would be nice :)

You might have a couple of weeks to go yet. My daughter was 5 days over her due date, my son was 2 weeks past and had to be dragged out!

Yeah, that's what a lot of people are saying - although the lovely lady who served us in Asda on Saturday was convinced there was 'no way' we'd get to the due date O_o (must be a very acurate bar code scanner she has!)

We'll were finally home and semi pulled round (ish), so I've got chance to let you all know that Lily Anne Warner came into the world on Tuesday 16th at just before 3pm (7 days after our due date). All 7lbs 1.5 ounces of her. Mum and baby are both doing well now, so I couldn't ask for any more :-)

Congratulations dude I'm glad everyone is doing well. Also when you get around to not being uber tired you might want to fix your picture link ;)

You know at that age kids only look cute so you don't strangle them to death.... Bless 'em. I used to love watching James sleep it more than made up for the sleeplessness. Enjoy every moment man.

Thanks all for the kind words. It means a lot, and I'll make sure Lis gets to see the thread too - she's doing amazingly well considering what she went through in the delivery suite. we're starting to get to grips with things (until the next curve ball) and are loving every minute so far. Most definitely the best thing we've ever done.

I've been told I might get a couple of hours painting this week, so I could get Lorgar finished for the comp. That's if I put the camera down for long enough. With living away from most of our family (with the exception of froggy who was here last night) everyone is asking for lots of pics :)

Thanks again all. It means a lot :)
