Mysterious Delivery

Postby Ogregut » Thu Jun 28, 2012 12:43 pm

Had a nice suprise in the post today. I recieved a Malifaux rulebook and fate cards in the post today. No invoice or return address, just the items in a brown jiffy bag with my name and address on (and stamps of course). Really strange as Ive no idea where this has come from.

I did order a rulebook and fate deck a while ago but I recieved them ages ago so my only thought is that the order was processed again but I find it weird there was no invoice.

Its not the first time something like this has happened either; way back when the current Eldar codex was released I got one in the post in the same manner as today, plain packing, my address and no invoice or return address.

Anyone else ever had anything like this happen or have theories!?

No but I did once order the Tau codex and got the German language version!
"The guns have stopped because we are at last about to attack. Even our generals aren't mad enough to shell their own men, they think its far more sporting to let the Germans do it!"

That's cool. Make a little cash on eBay, or a cheap chrimbo gift for someone!

Years ago when you could order individual pieces from GW, I put an order in. A couple figures inclueded, but mainly weapons etc. I waited 10 days or so, nothing arrived. Phoned GW main order, they appologised and said they'd re-send the order on next day delivery. Waited 2 days, still nothing. Called them again, same story. This time the order arrived. 2 days later a duplicate order arrived and a day later a 3rd lot arrived, lol.
I still have a load of swords etc in my bits box from that cock up :)
