As someone who is looking to get back into the hobby with a more regular habit, one is trying to gather a few more gamers in Nottingham and develop new gaming links.
Brief note, Wargames Foundry has had a change in management and the new manager Marcus Ansell has started an open door policy to gamers.
They are starting to clear the floor space and have already got a dozen gaming tables available for gamers to make use of.' Foundry Arena'
To quote Marcus ' So: get in touch if you would like to come and run events here.
What we would really like would be to have a regular club group meeting here at Foundry every Saturday. So, we would welcome local gamers looking for a venue to get in touch with us.
Attendance & tea and coffee at all these events is free.'
If you or any of your gamers are looking for some where new to game then this is a free to game arena that has easy access for everyone. At least consider.

We are still working on filling our weekends at Foundry with gaming events and suchlike. So far we have the following booked:
On the first Saturday of every month we are running God of Battles games under the auspices of its author, Jake Thornton.
Warhammer Ancients 340BC Battle of Crimissus, put on by Ben Clapperton from Durham University. Saturday 13th July.
Oldhammer - Bring out your lead! 31st August to 1st September.
Will Hannah Foundries old comrade: Sculptor and figure painter Will Hannah, has moved to Nottingham. The plan is for Will to come into Foundry every other Saturday to give a hands on demonstration of how to really paint your toy soldiers. Everyone gets to sit round the table with him while he shows us how it's done.
If this proves popular we may have a go at getting you to come in and actually paint along with Will.
Will is coming in to Foundry this Saturday! (4th May) for his first demonstration. We know this is very short notice; so we don't necessarily expect large numbers of visitors to turn up. In which case we will hold a pleasant little gathering anyway!
Come along and join in.
