Hey guys, this is a collection of all the suggested ideas, the poll will be active Until Wednesday the 13th October 2010, when development on the chosen idea will begin.

Im afraid the application will be initially only available for apple mobile devices, however if successful it could be ported into other platforms.

Once an idea is chosen, threads will start popping up about development and suggestions, we might even get our own sub forum, if things get properly in hand.

All support of this project is greatly appreciated and credited.

if your going to make available to other platforms, ur going to end up competing with stuff already available, so when voting guys, we need to think of something original I feel. Unless Gordy feels confident his will beat anything else hands down

and by other platforms do u mean other mobiles? or does it mean PCs, ie; windows ?

I'm gonna go try think some other stuff up tho as I think this is a great opportunity for our community to help increase awareness for the site..

i'd suggest staying clear of an army builder were i you - wolf lair have to walk such a thin line with theirs at it is, and i remember a guy tried to set one up himself last couple of years and gw went after him. you don't need that kind of hassle!

i've gone for math hammer as i can't do math hammer so would find that really useful. it is also something that you can make generic enough to avoid unwanted attention.

My vote has gone for Battle Report Creator - and I think that mobile devices is the perfect way to do this.

The toughest part of creating any battle report is the time involved in getting a collection of pictures done, adding them into a file, then adding some narration. What if all the pictures could be taken on the phone and added straight into the application there and then, add a quick bit of narrative which is easy enough between turns - job's a good'ne.

I can see this being a popular tool for many gamers. We need to make it as simple as possible to do a battle report on the spot, as the game proceeds.

Im thinking of an alarm every 30mins to remind u to take a piccie, a voice recorder for taking notes, that can be converted to text later, mannualy I guess. Speach recognition would be awsome like lol

Some kind of 2nd application to help you compile it all somehow and then save to the desire format... does Apple software handle pdfs, surely it does.

I think I might be jumping the gun a little. Operational ideas would come later after the direction is decided... I'll stfu now.

Confused_Geordy, if none of these pan out, there are also people after a custom card deck maker/shuffler for iphone/ipad. I can relate more details if needed.

I voted for the battle report creator right from the start.
Basically for the reasons BigJim stated.
Also, we were (and I hope still are) trying to get a large batrep section on this site to attract new viewers/members.

we are, and this would help immensly making it easy for anyone to contribute to that.
