Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Postby Spack » Thu Apr 07, 2016 6:43 pm

I quite liked The Force Awakebs, but my heart is still with the original trilogy. I've watched the Rogue One trailer a few times today, and I can feel the excitement growing each time. Not sure how I'll be able to handle waiting 8 months ...

Mon Mothma, check. OT Stormtroopers, check. AT-ATs, check. Lack of lightsabers, check. Many Bothans dying, not sure yet.

I really hope this is even half as good as the trailer suggests, I'll be a happy little Imperial :)

the trailer for rogue one looks great, but remember, the teaser and 'we're home' trailers for episode 7 were really good and exciting, but the film was a let down.
Many bothans died to bring you this information.

I found the trailers for TFA and the film itself on a par. Watched it 5 times now, and while it has it's faults it's not bad, but certainly not up to the OT storytelling. Then again I'm not a prequel trilogy hater either, although I'd put TFA just above them.

I got more chills watching this first Rogue One trailer than I did with any of the TFA trailers. Here's hoping :)

I agree - it looks good. TFA was OK/good - miles better then Episodes 1-3 (which isn't difficult).

The trailer for Rogue One looks excellent I enjoyed TFA even though I am a true original trilogy fan

I'll reserve judgement. It does look good but after the utter dross that was TFA I'm not getting my hopes up.

Man, so much negativity! I enjoy every Star Wars film for what they are, I can pick holes in all 7 from my perspective, but they all bring an awesome storyline to the masses, no masses, no movies!

TFA was a second rate remake of the original from a man who managed to ruin Star Trek, the first one was quite good but Into Darkness was awful.
