I'm quite tempted by these as an alternative to the GW tiles: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/108 ... miniatures which I've been considering getting.

If I got them I think I'd do a ice/snow scape as that would make a nice alternative to my usual green tabletop. I also think the 12" squares are more practical and versatile (for layout and storage) than the GW 24" square ones. What do you all think?

I might have to wait though as there's another kickstarter coming up I want to do and I can't support both

These look really good. Definitely a good alternative to the GW board. I looked around a few years ago and most of the other modular boards either (a) looked like junk, or (b) were more expensive than the GW board. These tiles however not only look as good, if not better, than the GW tiles, but are cheaper too.

Yeah, sadly one for the future for me so I hope they get funding and push the range, I actually part-built my board using 12" squares ply but if someone was producing plastic tiles like that, even though it's more expensive I'd go for it (ply is about £1 per square foot).
