I was bored with 'weather' after 3 days to be honest.

We in the Southern temperate Zone of the UK 'Dont do weather'!!!!!!

Tell me are you now living in a Post Dystopian Society from about 30 seconds after the first snow flake landed - thats pretty much what happened over here LOL

We actually do fairly well. Snow is not exactly an unknown event around here.
This last storm that hit us started down the eastern seabord and dropped a few inches of snow on states like Georgia, South and North Carolina, places that are not really used to getting snowed on. :P Then it moved it's way up here. We got a bit over 12" but as it moved north it dumped over 3' in some parts of Massachusetts.
The National Weather Service announced the other day that 490 of the 50 United States have snow on the ground. 8O The only one spared so far is...Florida. Even Hawaii has snow on the ground, albeit waaaaay up in the mountains! :D
Can't wait for Spring, but I reckon we'll have a few more snowstorms between then and now.
Thank God for Global warming. If not for that I'd probably be up to my arse in snow by now!

Your maths is worse than mine!

Although if global warming is a fact, then we will be about a mile under the ice soon enough.

Didn't you hear, the US has just annexed a ton more territory!
Anyway, 49 of the 50 states have snow on the ground.
Freezing here, typing with gloves on.

*****UPDATE*****
We just got hit again! I'll take some pics later, right now taking a quick coffee break from shovelling.
Over an hour out there and I finally have half of both cars dug out! :P
We got 18" of snow overnight. :?
Since December 27th we have gotten 60" (that's 152.4 cm) or 5 feet of snow! 8O
With no thawing in between snowfalls, we still have piles of snow on the ground from the first storm. :(
Global warming?!?!?!?!

Well global warming does result in extreme climate conditions... in both directions!

It's gone cold again here... but not THAT cold.

I expect to see a picture of you standing on the snow next to your roof soon.

We had some small snowflakes yesterday, but they didnt stick. It has been really cold this past couple of days, and I spotted some ice in a drive way on my way to take Seth to nursery this afternoon.

We have some ice in our driveway as well!
This is looking from our side door over our driveway to the piles of snow across the street.

Not enough snow to collapse our roof yet, but the icicles look nice!
Image
Looking across the street to our neighbor's house. We have pretty much run out of places to pile the snow at this point!

Temps will be below freezing all this week so nothing will melt, and the weather prognosticater has just predicted the possibility of another large storm coming up the coast early next week. 8O
