1. FOW where ever possible and all my recent purchases have been in this dept.
2. 40K a good healthy splice of, but no recent purchases, although the plastic BloodCrushers might entice me.
3. Trafalgar - sporadically, but won't be spending anymore on this, as I have a large force of Langton British ships and terrain already, just need to make and paint the blinking things... nothing new there. :|

Drax,

Do you also play LotR SBG? Just curious given you listed WotR. Curious what your thoughts are between the 2. I have the rules for WotR but only play the SBG as I find the tactical skirmish more enjoyable.

i never actually played the strategy game, though my mate Sam loves it but isn't so fussed on WotR

i quite like WotR mind, its a little different to the 40k/fantasy i'm used to. Not that i'm very good at it mind, lol, but i enjoy the game!

I still play Inquisitor (in 28mm mostly, but I also have 17 54mm models for it), Necromunda but the only game LISTED that I still buy stuff specifically for is 40k.

I also play Infinity - a cyberpunk skirmish game with hot chicks with guns and giant power suits and alien creatures that want to eat your brains.

Game? That sounds like a typical Saturday night in midtown Manhattan!

I didn't notice any of those things last time I was in midtown Manhattan. I was however in a bar, and behind the jolly fellow serving, the entire wall was lined with different whisky bottles. 8O

Then you were in the wrong part of town! And when was the last time you were in Manhattan?

Which bar?

I was there in April 2000. I don't remember the name of the bar. It was a small place in the Times square area. It did have large glass windows so you could see in. I must get back to New York sometime. I only had 3 days there and could easily spent another week. Hell, I could have spent the week just in the Museum of Natural history. As it was I went in to specifically see the dinosaur collection (being a bit of a dinophile since a small child I really wanted to see the actual specimens rather than the photographs in books.) I also did a 'Marilyn Monroe' tour, went up the Empire state building, visited the world trade centre and statue of liberty and had a street vendor hotdog. So much left to do and see there.

I've been to NYC about 6 times now for a week each time.... but during work hours. All the museums I wanted to see closed before I could get to them!

Louise really wants to go but it's so damn expensive when your company isn't paying to fly you over :(

When we do though, we'll be sure to track down some bloke called John in Long Island.

I'll be looking forward to that! We're still saving our nickles and dimes to try and make a trip across the pond one day!

It was a good thing you got to see the world trade towers at that time. :( I had been on the roof of both towers back in the late 80's. My ex wife was a port authority police officer and the towers were her agency's jurisdiction. I had access to many places the public never saw. Shame my kids will never get the chance. My uncle still lives in the city, but I don't get in there as often as I used to. Still a one of a kind place to visit!

I only play 40K at the moment, although I have a few figures for Quest (hopefully another campaign soon), Spacehulk, recently started my Beastman army for Fantasy, Lord of the rings (they do have some cool minis, but I never get to play it), Necromunda (again, a few minis, never get to play), an I hve a load of Inquisitor bits, which I hope will get used soon!

I have tried to keep my options open!

How's this for a plan?

We all invest in BP.
We tell them there is oil in the sea ( ) in a line from new york to gb.

They botch the job and need so many emergency vessels to deal with the ecological travesty and we walk across the ocean on planks between the ships???

Good plan! Only problem is they'll never buy it. They know there is no oil in the sea...

...it's all in the gulf :(
