What wargames do you play and/or buy?

I thought it would be interesting to see what games everyone is currently playing and/or buying figures for, hopefully I've covered all the games but if I've missed any let me know! :)

40k only for me.

No other game system really floats my boat apart from:
Warmachine - looking into rules
Epic - never found players (Space Marine & Adeptus Titanics are what got me into 40k)
When in deadly danger
When beset by doubt
Run in little circles
Wave your arms and shout
- parody of the litany of command

Just 40K and Space Hulk for me.
FoW looks interesting though, particularly with me being a freelance student of military history!
Used to love the old Avalon Hill games (Tobruk, Starship Troopers, Richtofen's War, and others! :D )

Im not wargaming at all at the moment. I was playing D&D (with minis) for a while, but the GM no longer runs it.

The only gaming stuff I buy these days is Magic related, except the odd issue of White Dwarf.

Im still hoping to come to WHW world for 40K later in the year though - I havent quit or anything. :)

THere are a couple on the list I no longer play or haven't for a while.

BTW... if I try to go to "View new posts" and click on this thread I get "The requested topic does not exist."
It works fine from the Forum index page in the Last Active Post section.

Recently started collecting warmachine.

I wouldn't really include Space Hulk in there, as that's a board game rather than a collectable game, as you similarly wouldn't include something like the Doom board game, or risk, would you?

I think I fixed the view unread bug, it's actually a bug in phpBB itself, grr. Yes, maybe I shouldn't have put Space Hulk in, but it's in now so I'll leave it :P

I play WFB foremost, then 40k, Hordes, Necromunda, Mordheim, War of the Ring, Gorkamorka, Space Hulk, Blood Bowl (which is technically a board game too i guess) and i've just started Battlefleet Gothic

Drax,

Do you also play LotR SBG? Just curious given you listed WotR. Curious what your thoughts are between the 2. I have the rules for WotR but only play the SBG as I find the tactical skirmish more enjoyable.

well, to be honest I'm only playing 40k at the moment. I have ticked fantasy, but I've played 1 game of that in the last couple of years. My small gaming group is considering 8th ed, but it really depends on the contents and quality of the boxset. I also ticked Epic, but all I do for that is pick up epic tyranids from ebay whenever the price is right.
I will pick up any miniature if the price is right and I think it might be useful for a future roleplay game or be fun to paint.
