Maybe its not such a good idea, voting who looks most like their avatar.
Perhaps, it would be more interesting to vote for who would most like to look like their avatar ...

I've worfed a number of times in my life. 8O
But over here we usually call it ralph!

I think Ruffian still wins, I believe he would most like to look like his avatar.

I'll vote for myself for second place though! 8)

I vote for TW too. ;) My reason aside from the look alike, he's a chef, and his avatar is clearly cooking something up, lol.

What do you cook anywho TW?

I'm a Chef Instructor.
Used to work at a place called the Viking Culinary Center.
In between jobs right now, but have another "hot" prospect "on the fire" as it were!

Basically, I teach everyday people how to prepare and serve restaurant quality meals, coupled with the right wines.

Good lord! You into 6 month old shark buried in the ground served with black death vodka?
Actually, black death vodka fuelled some of my early musical forays, including the time we got shut down after about 10 minutes, because somehow, an old tramp (vagrant) had gotten in and jumped on stage, then proceeded to do a strip tease.
The gits turned the power off and we couldn't persuade them that it wasn't part of the "act."

Still got paid though. :D

Cool, a bit of an (uneducated) foody myself.
Have been having virtual orgasms over a tv programme about Rick Stein (contageously enthusiastic chef) touring Spain.
Probably my fave culinary moment was induldging in (hey, I'm diabetic!!!) chorizo with good mature cheese and a very nice rioja. Hmmmmmm.

Got a slow cooker today and intend to explore the way to perfect chilli/jambalaya type stuff.
Funds don't run to an indoor smoker, but I might make something strange in the garden ... though the weather here is a tad unfortunate.

Ruffian, I too am Diabetic. Have you been on the DAFNE course, it teaches you how to calculate what you are eating and adjust your insulin dose to suit. It means you can eat anything without worrying about high blood sugars. I went on it 2 years ago and it changed my attitude to food a lot. :P

No, I haven't, will check it out, cheers!
Hope it doesn't change my attitude too much though, as mine is perfect already.
Good food, EAT IT!

Just found out this past week that my neighbor is diabetic, so working on converting some recipes for him. 8)
And my dentist has me revamping some recipes to make them kosher.

Plus, I'm starting to put together a cooking class curiculum for some free lance cooking classes a friend wants me to do with him.

Not bad for a retired copper, eh?
