World of tanks-aholism

Postby Nightbringer » Mon Oct 10, 2011 6:13 pm

Good evening, my name is Lloyd and I`m a `World of tanks`- aholic. It started with just a Cunningham, I thought I could cope but it`s true what they say....."One thing leads to another" I got used to the Cunningham and I progressed onto harder things.........a PzKpfw35t. It`s spiralling out of control now, the 35t no longer fulfills my needs.......I have reached the Pz1v *sob*

I have taken the first step by admitting I have a problem, it doesn`t stop me wanting to home in on things with a sniper scope and drive over parked cars and things though. :|

I want that sexy sexy tiger II and T-54.

At least I have the Russian heavy line complete.

Welcome Lloyd to our little help group. I too feel your pain - I'm now 1/5 of the XP to a JagdPanther, and half way to a VK as my last stepping stone to a Tiger. Of course it won't be enough once I get to those, I'll have to go on. Oh, and I've added a Wespe to the garage so I can miss things from a longer distance too :P

My addiction is getting worse. I only realised today that I don't have to sit and watch to the end of a battle. I can quit out and immediately start another game with a different tank. This has caused my SPG-itus to flair up and develop a full blown case of TDism as well.

Spack - the Tiger P is a far better tank than the tiger. Shame the VK4502A is a pile of poo from what I've heard and seen.

The Tiger P would mean me having to go back to a PzKpfw 38 t, then the 38 na, the PzIV, and the VK3001 before finally getting to the Tiger. On my current branch I only have to go through the VK3601 to get to the Tiger.

Ive just gone backwards and got a VK again. I have had the Tiger, now have a Tiger II. Gone back again so I can go down the Panther route.

Also own a Ferdinand, Hummel and T-43.

And whoever, pointed this game out to me wants a good kicking as it is taking up valuable painting time!!!!!

Yes Gav, you need to get your TKs done so they look impressive whilst getting another damn good thrashing off my HEs!

Sorry Lloyd, thought I'd mentioned that when you were round. I often have a couple of dead tanks stuck in battles while I'm racing around in another battle :)

I`ve been playing tonight and found something which is really annoying. A tank destroyer appeared out of thin air right infront of me and destroyed me.....it was right infront of me! not impressed

Probably combination of them having camo net, camo skill on the crew, not moving, your commander not being 100% trained, and you moving towards them. Were you driving towards their position?

Good evening, my name is Cryhavoc101 and I`m a `World of tanks`- aholic.

My flats a mess - I haven't shaved in weeks, Months....I cant remember. Coffee has replaced sleep and to multiply my sins.....I have gotten two of my friends hooked as well (One of them splashing 600 quid on a replacement computer just to play it).

If you ever see 3 madly handled M3 Stuarts storm your base 60 seconds into the game and start shooting everything in site its likely to be us.

Now I need one of those Age of Strife Trailer things in your sigs - I HAVE SIG ENVY DAMMIT!!!!!

(How does one get a sig with ones WOT stuff on it?)

I'd like to know that as well!

Oh, and I'm Johnwizard (on the US server) and I'm hooked as well.

I'm not looking for help kicking my addiction, in fact, I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

No in depth strategy guides, no millenium of fluff, just tank up, go out, and shoot the crap out of someone!

What's not to like!
