That's what I was hoping - or a release of the mini rulebook like in the dark vengeance kit. That's all I had last time.

Well think how I feel, I paid over £150 for the special limited edition when 6th was first listed. I didn't get much ownership considering I invested in it thinking it will last me 5 years.

I will buy 7th edition, but I'm going to see if I can buy the smaller cut down version in the re release of dark vengeance although I heard it's *get you by* rules and not the full set. I don't think it is worth paying £50 for the trio if it is considered another temporary version with 8th edition in the works for summer 2016.

Funny no one can answer why GW dropped 6th edition so soon, I mean it wasn't the perfect version but it was far from the worst. The only piece of info I can find is that tournament players complained about how the game functioned although I don't know if that is true or not?

I'd be very surprised if gw gave a jot about tourney players, as they have been moving away from that recently, claiming they want to aim for the fun side, etc.

But the speed at which they bring codexes out now, this could just be the new norm.
