Big Thank you from c00ky

Postby c00ky » Tue Nov 08, 2011 5:57 pm

Dear all,

although it was a Campaign night and you all were busy, it was a real joy to come along and just watch. As always with these type of clubs every one I spoke to was friendly, I would have chatted to more, but got drawn into spectating an Eldar swarm attempt to kick Space Wolve butt.

To my untrained eye it did look like a whole can of whup ass was sparyed over teh Wo9lves, but they won by 2 Victory points.

Big thanks to Jim and Thunder Cat T-Shirt guy (sorry forgot your name) for keeping me entertained and a very big thanks to Chris who agreed to forgo a Malifaux session next week and fight my 2000pt Tau Sept.

Really glad I came along and looking forward to coming again next werek.

I will stop gushing now! ;-)

Ian,

Nice to see you come down on Monday. Space Wolves Chris did a good job of holding off the Eldar attack - it is always fun to play the various Missions.

Glad you managed to sort out a game for next Monday.

BTW - beware of names at the club (there are a collection of James/Jim/Jamie's and Chris's too!!)

Yes,

I was advised the best way to fit in was to change my name by Deed Poll to either a variant of Jim or Chris or both.

From now on I will be known as Jimbo Chrithp.

At one point we did consider making it a pre-requisite that people were called James before they could join the club :P

If all you lot are Jims and jameses, why not call yourself the jimjams and wear pyjamas to play?

Cooky

Thanks for the game on Monday, hopefully I gave as much good advice as i did hurt on your Tau Cadets! :-)

Losing is part of the fun at first, just as long as it's not all the time! ;-) I'm sure your force will be vastly improved and ready for battle next week. See you then.

Cheers
Chris
