Malifaux AAR - The Breachside Tattler

Postby DaBoss » Fri Feb 03, 2012 5:53 pm

Decided to try a slightly different way of doing the battle reports for Malifaux.

Tell me if this is better or worse than my usual PDF creations.

Otherwise a very interesting game between Rasputina Crew and Lady Justice Crew.

Very nice Phil. The template works well for Malifaux :)

Are you going to expand Rasputina's crew with anyone? If so which characters?

I'm thinking that I need to add a Silent One as the casting cost to cast spells is lower when using Ice Mirror.
Then maybe SnowStorm and when they final produce a model for "Blessed of December" or a "Slate Ridge Mauler"

That would bring me up to about 54ss - so 55ss brawls or plenty of choice in smaller games.

I really like the write-up! Thanks phil. I'm starting to get into the game and the AARs really help get the gist of the game!

Thank you for the feedback, glad there's enough detail to see the flow and mechanics of the game.

Red Devil which crew are you building up?

I agree with Red Devil.
I don't play Malifaux, but have no trouble following the game.
Good batrep, as always!

I have the lady justice set. I think I'll need to play a few games before I can really make a decision about how to make a 25 SS crew, but I like the scales of justice model...

If you are at the next meet up, would you mind a demo game?

Yep the Scales of Justice is useful combined with the Lady, otherwise have a look at the Executioner he's brutal.

Unfortunately, the next AoS meet conflicts with a family wedding so I'm going to be a no-show till later his year event.

I have looked at the Executioner - nice model. I think I can fit him in if I drop one of the Death Marshals.

Shame you can't make it. I'll have to pester Stunty for a game ;-)
