They look great Jimster. White is a tough color for 'crons, you pulled it off nicely. (Ruffian...behave yourself! )
What plans for the rest of the army?

A lord on foot is better off with a Staff of Light. It's destroyer lords who should have a War scythe, as they can actually get somewhere to use it, ie. enemy vehicles.

Nice idea putting the flyed one hands`s on the warriors body`s.
easier to paint to.
Will think on doing that at a later date.

 at idea of going against SOL armies. :P
Whats the one thing I want to do against necrons.. get stuff into combat with the troops to make them all vanish. You need a warscythe to fend off ironclads, demon princes with good invulnerables, termies etc... vs 3 dead meq if your moving forwards into rapid fire range for everything else, which will already be 20+ shots of doom from the rest of your guys anyway..
Crazy colour scheme..... but I'm a fan :D

yes, thats right. the Lord's doesnt have a built-in gun, which is why it doesnt shoot. ;)

Re: Flayed Ones: cheers. :D
i did those back when you could do bitz orders - worked out much cheaper that way, as well as easier to paint. :)

Malek`s right it`s one or tuther.
It`s a 10pt swap I dont mind making simply because he kills more in combat,
When im using him as a res orb area effect lord covering as many units as poss with his unit being the one i want charged first so`s not to pull him to far away from other unit`s when he has to move to combat.

If FW ever make a pariah, the built-in gun will be in the model's chest ;)

Quite frankly KMB, if your nasty stuff is in combat with necrons, it's game over for them anyway. A warscythe won't really help at all other than making a token gesture, if the lord hasn't already been picked out and crunched into bits. The old trick with the Veil simply doesn't work in 5th edition. It's utter madness to let necrons get into assaults.

Angelwing be right it isnt good for necron`s to get in combat,
But you do on occasion have to get to objective`s so it`s gonna happen.
But T5 immortals in range of an unengaged res orb realy bug the opposition.

i think, that its a reference to a FW Dread that had its Storm Bolter mounted on its main body, despite the rules saying its built into its DCCW. :P

indeed it is... and the endless debate that it helped fuel about what "built-in" meant with regards to weapon destroyed results.

Keep up KInG!
