Star Trek Attack Wing League

Postby Iceman99 » Tue Jan 27, 2015 11:39 am

Hi guys,

To everyone I have spoken to about the STAW League I am running.

The first game week will be 9th February, make sure you have worked out your 100pt squadron before starting the first game, this will ensure we all can fit 2 games in on the night. Remember whichever faction you start the first game with you will be using for the duration of the league, no changing faction.

For those who still need the full details I will have copies of the pack next week and the week after.

Thanks

chris

With this in mind would it be possible to book a couple of tables for Monday 2nd Feb so people can try out some builds?
Should mean people can get a few games in before the league.

Guys,
I won't be able to make it next Monday (9th) as I'm working nights. I'll pop in the week after to catch up with some STAW games.

Right Guys an update on how the league is going

Name GP W D L Diff Pts
Doug 6 5 0 1 115 15
Phil 4 4 0 0 160 12
Sean 4 3 0 1 142 9
James 5 3 0 2 87 9
Stu 4 2 0 2 -9 6
Rob 3 0 0 3 -126 0
Dicko 4 0 0 4 -166 0
Chris 4 0 0 4 -203 0

Doug is leading the way with his Romulans, but has played more games than anyone else, Phil is hot on his heels with the Borg and looking in a strong position to take top spot at the half way stage. Still plenty to play for!!!

Once everyone has played 6 games you will need to stop before playing your 7th I will confirm what happens for game 7 once everyone has caught up.

Thank you all for the enjoyable games.

Think the ablative armour really helps not give away points and keep the Tactical Cube alive.
The Scout Cube is still very vulnerable even with Agility 3

I think I will have to take something else for the second half of the Tournament and not rely on the Borg 360 degree firing.

Surprised how bad the Federation did as they have lots of options

Cheers,
PhilP
