Sounds just like the force James took against my Ork Deathblow....

Only just managed to scrap a Win from him.

Only 5 kill points to give away - very good. Make sure you keep the Land Raiders within 6" of each other.
Lightning Claw Terminators make a real mess of Nobz, 4 attachs each hitting on 4+ with Chaplain re-roll, 4+ to wound with re-rolls, Nobz take 5+ invulnerable with Cybork body - So thats 20 attacks, 15 hits, 11 wounds, of which 7 fail the save - so 3 or 4 Nobz dead, Chaplain goes for the Warboss, then the Thunderhammer squad finishes off the rest of the Nobz.

Interesting to see what happens against the Eldar or Necrons??

Cheers, PhilP

it should be fairly interesting, although i am still considering taking 4 custodes in the Emperors gift, but i don't think i can be bothered to make them especially for 1 game, if i could fit them in my main force then maybe.

Looking good - very crisp white. I think a brown/black wash over the metal would be a good idea to take the sheen off it. I can also see a mold line on that hammer ;)

Looking great. Agreed with Matt's comments, a little wash on the metal will help it.

Hi Chris,

Couple of things from last nights game:

Hunt Sergeant Kumblai
Once per battle, provided there are no other characters in the unit, the unit may assault after Turbo-boosting.
You had attached the Primarch to the unit, so should not have been able to assault then?

Flyers - When damaged, Stuns count as Shaken - so you did not need to leave the battle field but then should not have shot the following turn (not that it did any damage).

Super Heavy Walkers/Gargantuan Models - After close combat, Infantry must move 1" away from the Super Heavy Walker/Gargantuan model (taken from the Apocalypse rules)

Otherwise, I'd advise dropping one of the Lightnings (keep the one with the Hellstrikes), you need another Scoring unit I think - you had what 3 Bike Squads and a Tactical Squad compared to my 3 Boyz mobs, 2 Trukk Mobs and a Nob Mob - lucky that we ran out of time on 4th turn otherwise I think I'd had grabbed two more objectives.

The other thing to consider is Outflanking more unless you get first turn - those Pulsa Rokkits and the Stompa Killkannon really hurt you before you could strike...

Otherwise a Great game - lots of interesting moments.

Your right on this one they have changed the rule since 4.1, doesn't matter much now tho as i have dropped him and done a massive re write to the 3k force.

i have dropped the other lightning and have changed the one with hellstrikes to have 4x bombs and the 2 hellstrikes.

This is what i have got now:

the 2k force is all eggs 1 basket case tho thanks to annihilation :)

Looking in the pack, Flyers count as Fast Attack, but luckily you can take upto 6 Fast Attack choices.

Rest looks good - the outflanking reserve rolls you need to make, the more chance enough units will turn up on the correct flank - sounds very much the White Scars tactic.

Having to re-think my Ork Main Battleforce as it is now Annihilation, think both Nobz Bikes and Nobz in Battlewagon with Warboss will stay but not sure what else to use?
