Blog Subject:  BA Blog 9th Nov 2012: New Cpt Aphael, Honour Guar and Ride.

Howdy dudey folks. I brings new stuff. Hopes you enjoy.

Firstly; I re-made Captain Aphael of the 2nd Co. I wasn't entirely happy with the pose of the first one, and I had also experimented with Quickshade on the first which I also was terribly thrilled with... So here be the new and improved Captain Aphael. I also modelled and magnetised several load out options to be several characters from the BA Codex.

Also.. His Honour Guard.

The Door (except one) are FW, but the Prometheus load out is made from my bits box.

One more pic for you. Not a great pic, but it's of the entire 2nd Co.

Comments Crits welcome and appreciated as always folks :)

Very nice as usual. Aphael looks great, the magnetised parts fit seamlessly and I had to go back and re-read the intro to confirm that they were in fact the same model and not 3 separate models.

Love the magnetised Aphael! The parts fit so seemlessly and the painting looks great. Honour Guard look great too. Do you think the high basing might cause an issue in games though with true LoS? Or is that not really a concern?

It's possible I guess. But to be honest I don't get to play much, so it doesn't bother me hugely. I build more for cool as I think Angelwing put it.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

As you guys have been commenting on the magnetised captain, I thought I'd add a pic of all the separate pieces. The lighting isn't great though, sorry :/
