I've got a thing about painting female models in Malifaux,they are my favourite sculpts.

So when looking for my next crew i was looking through the Resurrectionists (as no-one in our club was doing them) and was not happy with the Masters available, then I read the rules for Henchmen and saw Molly Squidpiddge and knew that was my next purchase.
I also picked up some scenic bases at the same time - really like them plus the add weight to the models when placed on the tabletop.



It's going to be interesting painting faded and dirty clothes but still trying to capture the female beauty...

So we have:
Molly Squidpiddge as Master (Henchman)
3 x Rotten Belle's 12ss
1 x Rogue Necromancy 10ss
Total 22ss

So running a 25ss Scrap - planning on adding a Necrotic Machine and would like more Belle's but need something different than the current ones, anyone got some ideas from other manufacturers???

Finally consumed the rules and changes in the latest 2nd Edition of Malifaux.
Decided to get some more work on my 3rd Crew for the game (1st & 2nd being Rasputina and Pandora)

With the changes to the way Crew's are hired, models now have a basic stat card, with certain models being able to take upgrades (3 for Masters and 1 for Henchmen or Enforcers).
I've reconfigured my Nephilim Crew with choices from Wave 1
4pts Master - Lilith with Upgrades Wicked Mistress, Living Blade & Rapid Growth
12pts Enforcer - Mature Nephilim with Upgrade Obsidian Talons
12pts Minions - 2 x Young Nephilim
12pts Minions - 3 x Terror Tots

Total of 40 soulstones (will drop Rapid Growth & Obsidian Talons to give me an extra 2 soulstones)

Have also painted up a Doppelganger (Enforcer) with Nexus of Power for 8pts

2 more buildings constructed, these things are addictive!

Firstly my second 28mm Compound. Again the Brig and some Treen are giving it the once over. For scale the mdf base is 300mm x 300mm.







Next up is the second building, another Afghan style compound but this time in 6mm. Again for reference the base is 70mm x 70mm. This was made by simply chopping some old bits of a chipboard shelf into the right heights then adding card surrounds for the lips of the roof. Makes them solid and pretty quick to knock, the hardest thing being cutting out the windows/doors!.

So last night Red Devil and I played BFG, his first game, my third, but I haven't played for 12 years!

I played Chaos:
Styx Class Heavy Cruiser - Ld9
Hades Class Heavy Cruiser - Ld6
Carnage (1) Class Cruiser - Ld 7
Carnage (2) Class Cruiser - Ld8

Phil played Imperial:
Mars Class Battlecruiser - Ld8
Dictator Class Cruiser - Ld7
Lunar (1) Class Cruiser - Ld6
Lunar (2) Class Cruiser - Ld8

We played the basic Cruiser Clash (ignoring the upper points limit per model). We got lots of rules wrong, having both only skim-read them, but we had fun. This is just a brief overview of what happened as I didn't take detailed notes because it takes time to play a game you barely know
