So Mantic had a 15% off to celebrate Ronnie's (the owner) birthday, and I took the opportunity to buy both Kings Of War armies from Mhorgoth's Revenge to ~1,000pts (Undead at 1,015 and Dwarfs at 1,005 or 1,020 depending on if I upgrade the Crossbows to Rifles, ignoring Mhorgoth for now).

"Only available for the offer duration" items I went for:
5 Undead Zombie Sprues (3 Zombies per sprue) to make the unit from the basic set into a 30 model unit

Rules greyness

Pile 'o Bones - we thought the language is unclear here. Initially it seems reassembling = 1 action, but then it goes on to say that it counts as a model that has had an action played on it.
a) this is redundant repetition, only Dwarf Follow-Ons can be played on a model that has already acted
b) this limits the model to 1 action (of reassembling) regardless of how many points the token was worth

I opted for a), see Scenario 1.

Break-offs & Free Strikes - would have liked some clarity on whether a model can Free Strike against a model leaving from it's Rear Arc.

I opted for "yes" by RAW.

While at Newbury Colours picked up another building for my FoW.
There is a guy in America that produces large pieces of resin scenery for 15mm scale and has a range for Stalingrad.
The great thing with them is that they are over 300mm long by 150mm deep (whereas my other buildings are never more than 100 by 50)

I've already got a Tractor Factory one which I loved painting up.


This time I picked up a Bombed Monestry (like Cassino)


Will enjoy painting this one up
