AOS Painter of the Month Competition - April 2013

Looks good Angelwing!
I believe you that there's a model under all that paint, it'll probably be considerable smaller after all those paint layers are removed!
Added you to the entrants.

@skywalker, thanks! That's a considerable savings. I'll have to look into the plastic soldiers line.

I've completed my entry. Yes early I know, but I did it faster than I expected. Also my wife was due to give birth 2 days ago, so I wasn't expecting to have the time. So far the baby is content to stay put, (can't say I blame him). I'm not going to add any more to this months entry because I still don't know how much time ill have.

When the April gallery is up, I'll upload the pic there too. But for now..

There are some more pics in my blog like individual close ups.

Ah, sorry Cain, we have to set the permissions to let the entrants upload pics.

I'll work on it today, unless Spack reads this and takes care of it!

I think it might have to wait until the 15th though, I believe Spack does up the list once the deadline for entries has passed.

Something for us to work on for the future!

TW, you can do the list, as can Talus - go see the post I made in the other forum about how to add people to the group, and adjust the permission on the album. I'll add the permissions for now though :)

Ah, thanks Spack, forgot about that.

In future, I'll add the entrants to the permission list as they sign up for the competition and are listed on the forst post

Thanks again!

You can upload your unpainted entry into your own album and post it in the thread - its what I did.

Hi,

Found the 109 in the top shelf STILL Unpainted!

But...

It Was A Bit Broken But Luckily we found the fuel tank but Spack still has to make a bit of the propeller because it broke of somewhere :(

Need to make it out of plastic card so when that's all done I'll post the picture up.
I like this website :)

Mine and ageofwar's pre-painted pics will be up by the weekend, got to craft a prop blade from plasticard and also make a final decision on what to paint. I'm beginning to think a blind entry system, where nobody knows who painted what, might be more fun - I've got an idea of what I want to paint, but don't really want to post a pic and ruin it ;) If I pull off the final model I'll be more than happy with last place as the model itself will forever be a standout piece in my collection, but if it turns out to be a disaster I may well just shut the whole website down and live the life of a hermit ...
