Thankyou.

Fully aware of it KMB!

The ceremony will be conducted under the light of the new moon at the stroke of midday as prescribed by scriptures. ;)

@ ageofwar - Just a suggestion here. If you can't get the propeller bit to work, you could always leave the landing gear off, and after painting the model, place it on a small base with grass around it and a rough trough of torn up ground behind it, simulating a soft crash landing after a mission. Dad might even be able to help you out with showing you some ways to simulate battle damage to the engine. Just a thought.

Stop giving him ideas that will make me do more work on it! The landing gear is already glued down, and there's no pilot. If I can't find my green stuff then I'll have no choice but to make one of plasticard, it'll be a flatter than the other two but hopefully not that noticeable.

bunged my stuff in the gallery.
I have to admit that I could have done far more work on these models, and I've let the side down a bit in terms of putting real effort in, but they have to match the rest of the unit they are joining. In retrospect they where probably not the best choice for the competition.
on the other hand I got them painted, which was the main thing, and should hopefully take them out for a game next week.

cheers for the compliments on my jetbikes, realistically tho i think i'll only have time to paint one of them for this competition so it'll probs be the one with the flag as i've entered a local competition too for the end of this month also lol
( cant help myself lol )

i might do a tutorial on how i made them in the forum if anyone is interested in me doing that as they are simple to make once you've figured out how to make the first one that is lol

Its troublesome, isn't it???

This probabobably should be in the rules section, but, anyway.

I was watching Q.I. and that treasure of her Brittannic majesty, Mr. Fry, said that, due to the refractive index of the atmos, the moment the sun dips below the horizon, is actually the moment the base of the solar disc, actually touches the horizon.

According to rite 33 1/3 (which is in dispute, clearly), it tells you to shout "potato" the very moment the sun "fadeth from earthly view."

RAW VS. RAI I don't know.
