Well, we did ask for people's ideas on entries!

:)

Thinking either Sternguard Squad (with drop-pod?) for my Red Scorpions, or another Epic Titan.

Looking at the Epic stuff and the way the armies are built (in 2nd edition, the one we play), the nearest comparision to 'elite' units would be the special card limited to one per company. For my Imperials, this would normally be a Titan or Command Centre, but having done the Imperator and Warhounds already I'd rather paint something different up - maybe an Eldar Phantom (got three there to do). I guess the other option would be to see whether I can pick up an Eldar Avatar or Guard Leviathan from feebay. More time to ponder I think....

Hmmm. The only elites ive got to do are storm troopers. Although my converted ogryns may be in need of a repaint so I could strip them. Only thing im worried about is what happens to green stuff when you strip models. :/

Probably depends on what you strip them with. For the most part, it should be okay, but I've no direct experience with stripping paint over GS.

Anyone?

Depends what you use, I found detol or acetone free varnish remover broke whatever bonds and the green stuff peeled away and in some areas went abit slushy. On the other hand some of the green stuff just stayed put.

You lot over there have had good results with fairy spray I believe.

I really wish I could just ship a case of Simple Green over to you. It's what I use over here and it really works great!

i use fairy power spray, doesnt affect greenstuff (so far), leave it for an hour then scrub with a tooth brush, or leave it longer and just run it under a tap, simples :)

I don't think I'm gonna have an entry this month or next guys. I'm pretty much doing Dropzone exclusively at the moment. And there aren't any units that would class as 'Elite'. And I don't have any more Infantry to do in the near future for next month. The same goes for Malifaux, although that is on hold for the time being anyway.

Fairy Power Spray IS Simple Green ;)

It has various names in Europe but in the UK it is the same thing. Works well on everything I've found - Green Stuff, Plastics, metals, Resin (Forgeworld, Finecast and Restic)
