Right down to the wire, but I got my entry uploaded to the gallery.

Image

It's a trio of french country cottages and a couple of ruins I made for Flames of War. The ruins can be placed on the table at the start of the game or can be used to "switch out" a building that has been destroyed in game.

This was a great project for me because it began with scratch building a cottage, making a silicon mold of the pieces and then casting the parts out of hydrocal. It's the first time I ever did something like this from start to finish. Gave me a better appreciation of the people who make molds for a living!

They're all looking great guys. I took some pics of mine last night and will try and get a montage up in the gallery tonight before midnight. If not it will be just the one.

Yeah - still undecided on how I'm going to surface the road as this is the first piece of my modular board.... I've created a border on the base where the building ends and the road starts, so if inspiration comes I'll finish it off. Currently waiting on a couple of things drying - painted razor wire and the pva gloss layer for the sludge river. When they decide to comply I can go round and tidy up some of the detailing......

No chance for me to get something in this month I'm afraid... seeing as I've not even started yet.

Would make it a bit tough.

Plus you'd have to come up with something small enough to fit in your foldio! ;)

Submitting mine soon. Sadly unfinished, which I really hate doing. Job has hit the see-saw (Teeter-totter for our cousinns oversees) of my work/life balance with a neutron-bomb this month!

Well mines up, such as it is. Wished I'd had time to finish it properly to the standard of my previous buildings.

We call it a see-saw over here too. Teeter-totter is what drunks do after they leave a bar!

Will still look forward to seeing it, even if unfinished.

And everyone who submits an approved entry into the gallery gets a campaign ribbon anyway!

We're trying to work on doing something for when campaign ribbons hit 5, 10, 15, etc.

So hurry up and get those entries into the gallery because......

My entry has been uploaded to the gallery. It's not quite finished. I still have to do weathering, and making it look a bit more deralict. But this is the point I'd intended to reach for the competition.

Just woke up and checked clock to see how long left... then looked at the entries so far... and decided that mine should just be added as it is so that I don't rush it just to get it somewhere near looking finished. I was gonna flock them for picture, but I'd rather add more paint before I do that, etc.

So I apologise for the state of this entry.

had same issue just this second. Thought it was a local issue though. Maybe server-side then. But my network connection was off for a moment.
