Sorry to not update in a while guys, heres how things are going.

Managed to make the basic application along with its icon, and some up-datable text fields.
Am pretty much constantly reading three books on the development processes involved, and doing many trial runs of various different practical methods (which will see the light of day soon)

Soon Ill be posting some initial screen shots.

If anyone fancies providing any 40k (the first application will be based on the 40k rule set) model images with a relatively high standard of painting within the app, Ill be posting up a new thread shortly for submissions (gotta make it look fairly professional)

Got the database and class diagrams for the various different entities (information that must be stored) sorted out.

Next Ill be programming the class architecture in the application.

Uh, what?

;)

Been meaning to look at those for years now, but it's much easier just to shove an app in my boss' face and let him try to break it ...

Looking good. I'm glad I got an iPhone this time around.

Only comment there would be the list of reports (image 1) could do with more info to identify it. Maybe the second line description has the name u give it there rather than point size.

I'm excited now and would definatelt use this. Keep it up sir. Looking good!!!

Windows Mobile 6...WTF? Why not Windows Phone 7!?

Looking good Gordy. Can you have non-fixed point games or are you limited to the ones you've preset?

At the moment its just the points shown, I could do a similar thing as I did to the race selection, But im not fully certain which way to go, as it feels like it would be a fairly empty view (just a picker wheel). what you think?

Ideally id want it to be a pickerwheel that appears on-top of the table, when you select the point limit cell, but im not sure how to get it to do that yet. :(

Ill make that change king (no big thang)

Because "new" means "you can have the spare one from the sales office that nobody else wants because it's a bit crap". It only runs WM6 :|

I agree, this app is looking great. One question though. How customizable is it? I would like to use the tool myself, but play more games of Lord of the Rings, and would like to see it where I can better define the systems involved.
