I fell in love with these models, and the game designer and his Girl Freind (especially his girl friend...hmmmmmm...oh right..ahem)...and his mum

In fact I fell in love with everything at the DZ Commander stand at Salute - other than the Antenociti's workshop stuff - it was the only really good thing there IMO....apart from the Mantic stuff of course...ahem....but I already knew about that....

It was worth the visit to Salute just to see that stand and talk with the developer/designer/brains chap who did everything

However I am holding out for the rules before I hand over Forge World level's of cash for Models!

Those two pre-release sets of views make the game sound interesting, very interesting....

I was thinking that. I especially liked the description of of the bloke throwing the model at the wall and it not breaking and the dig at Finecast! If the rules live up to these early rave previews then I am very seriously interested. Like I've said in previous posts though me getting it all depends on if the Raiders are going to get into it.

Hello

I'm probably months behind everyone else, I've just seen the new 2player starter set and I have to say the contents looks great. Has anyone played this yet? I've heard mixed reviews but not from any one who has played. I'm thinking of getting the starter to play at home so would like to hear any feedback before I take the plunge.

Thanks

Iv just ordered a few PHR bits to run a review on hear on the resin casts. I also am looking at the new starter box. It would be good if they do head to plastic models. There's a new race going to be relised this year as well. Resin is very well detailed but can have huge problems if the cast get messed up. Thi I have Hurd there customer survice is on par with GW. For me I'm a PHR fan. :)

Plastic starter set is making both mine and Phil's wallet-finger twitchy.... the only shame is that the two armies in the box are my 3rd (UCM) and 4th (Scourge) preference, and I know UCM are in Phil's top 2 so I end up with Scourge.... but I do like there big super-weapon model.

My biggest concern is painting the infantry.
From what I've seen the scourge seem to have some good units but the models for the phr are really nice. Has there been a drop in price? I remember looking at this and thinking it was really far too expensive. I like the terrain pack for £27. Yes its only paper and card but a tables worth of 10mm terrain is not to be sniffed at.
