Nige, that's a little different - the GT rules have always disallowed non-GW models but did allow conversions with at least 50% GW parts. Putting GW parts on the base and using paint have never counted as converting the model.

My Cadian Air Cav army is now only half useable if I want to play at WHW thanks to me using Phoenix club conversions for my infantry squads. Grr.

Has anyone experienced this rules been enforced?
I think it will be very difficult to single out any GW models that have some tweeks on them, the only thing they can easily stop are blatant non GW complete models.

Phil plays BA so he'll have his copy. If I remember (hmmmm!) then I'll throw mine in.

SICKNESS WARNING!

I'm off to Prague this evening but they have the Flu doing the rounds there and most of my staff are off sick! In case I catch something evil, I need a volunteer stand-in to run the tournament and deal with GW (i.e. the AoS point pan for the weekend).

Fingers crossed I'll make it though...I'd hate to miss the weekend :(

Ah don't be like that! Tomorrow will be great. I've already had all of my lot barring Luke and Slate, drop out, or have reasons they can't come. It's looking like I won't be down on the Sunday either now. :(

just a bit depressing cos Ive spent a lot of time converting models just to watch them smash its mainly the metals which have broke (I dont pin often). ghaz is in about 6 pieces now, deffdread and kans arnt much better.. Ive just scraped it all up and chucked it in a box.. the stompa survived tho cos that was downstairs already.. I think im a bit cursed when it comes to aos events, at the last one I tripped up outside WHW and dropped my daemons breaking a grinder, thirster and a crusher.. Clutz lol
