How's everyone getting on then? Only a few days left to go, and I haven't even built mine yet! :( I've got the parts I need, just need to actually glue them together coherently, and then paint. I'm hoping to get mine built before the weekend, and painted Sunday. Going to be tight though ...

unfortunately, events have conspired against me, and i havent been able to finish mine either, so i wont be entering this time round. :(
(no less than 4 separate things got in the way of my working on my entry - including a sprained wrist and stinking cold)

i was so happy with my idea, too.
(i will still make it though, eventually, and will post pics when i do)

sorry guys!

I wish everyone luck on this competition. Unfortunately, I will not be participating. I really need to focus on finishing my mate's Brettonians as my free time is going to become non-existant around the 20th of Nov.

I look forward to seeing the entries.

I hope to have my entry ready on time (#1 for ruffian 8) ) and I understand the feeling of those who can't participate this month for one reason or another. My personal challenges have settled down a bit (Mom is now back at home and doing very well, thank you to all who asked and offered kind words :D ) and I have the rough construction mostly completed. I have some WIP photos here. My idea for a medicae facility is a regeneration chamber and that's what I tried to model.
To all those who are entering this month, good luck (#2 for ruffian  ) and for all those who can't be up for the contest (#3 for ruffian :D ) I hope you can join with us in next month's challenge!(#4 for ruffian  )

Sadly, my entry is so backed up, that I have got nothing out of it for a couple of weeks now (@TW, I'll set 'em up, you knock 'em down!!!).

Due to financial meltdown, I have been unable to get the head I need (now that's a gift) and, after an incident, my predominant finger is out of action.
Would you like to see a video of "the beast that stalked Northampton"???
Vegetables are supposed to be good for you.

I'm out!
Sorry guys, will be up for it big time next month (subject to the inevitable injury).

Well, the idea was to make a seriously spooky looking medical orderly (ig).
I was going to use the long coated baneblade commander (curtesy of elvis!), with nasty looking blades and surgical hammer.

White coat + lots of icky looking stains.

The head I was going to get was from hasslefree, one of the ghoul heads.

(Bit of a change from last months Colonel Calamity, I thought!)

But, if anybody out there has spare ork, or orc heads, preferably without helmets (oh god), let me know!!!

I'll just throw this out here.
Since so many of our members are unable to compete, would we want to extend the deadline to allow extra time for the competition this month?
Thoughts?

It does sound like a good idea to me - it'll be close as to whether I'll get mine done in time, been trying to get other stuff sorted before I go to TechEd in a week.

At this rate it looks like we might have only 1 entrant (TW). Anyone object to a 1 month extension?

I'll vote yes for a one month extension.

So you would desire delay?

Nice one!

If that actress is Sophie Marceau I wouldn't mind dressing up as a bishop (even if it does mean only moving sideways).

I'm a crook tw, don't arrest me!
