Herne wrote:@ Stunty - read in the rules pack that any forgeworld list can be used. Just a bit worried about that. There's a stinking siegemaster list that when coupled with red scorpions giving you tac squads with a 3+ inv save and feel no pain. AWWW! Does this also mean forgeworld models are ok as long as they are approved for 40k games in the imperial armour apoc 2nd ed book - or is it strictly whats in the lists for the codex's only. (Sorry - not used to tourney expectations as the only ones i ever play in are AOS ones!)

Personally I'll play against anything that isn't a Flyer or Super-heavy (most Flyers now have Flimmer rules in the 2nd Ed book).

No when he says lists, he means lists like the X number of guard/vraks lists (or the characters e.g IA9 "leader in an ultramarines army).. He doesn't mean bring an emperor titan(it also means, despite it being a rule I requested, that it doesn't allow the thing I wanted (slaughterfiends)).. But if for example wolflord havoc + ruffian were coming with their LATD/ renegade guard they could use a more fluffy corrupted guard list or anyone who has gone fully mental with orks could bring their armoured list.(I tried to get frog to turn up with that but he's not talking to people at the moment).

If you think a particular list is totally bork3ns do share it and we can decide to banish. Frankly tactical marines with FnP..meh. even with invincibility meh..they are tactical marines. You take swarm of tactical marines and the imagination tax of a 300 point HQ combo.. I salute you.Isn't a tenth as good as a standard tourney guard list that someone has been practising in a competitive environment with.Which version of armoured company is the current one, should that be banished?

@ Stunty, why don't you just have a 5 min period before the first game where each list is checked by the first opponent, once checked he can sign it off and submit it to you as ok, or raise any concerns prior to kick off.

Because I've had 2 lists so far and 1 is wrong lol. If it was left till the day he may not have minis with him to correct it.

I've submitted mine.

I'm thinking I may have been trolled & that Stunty is just trying to make a list to destroy us all!

Toby's is bound to be wrong - that's what you get for using army builder ;)

My lists are always epicly refined tables on handcrafted gossamer paper, with printers having worked extra hard to make super special legibility..
Unlike the rest of you dreary hacks who stare at an opponents box before scribbling down "100 chimeras+a landraider" on the back of your beermat.
IRRC my list last autumn was 4 points under, and even with such a generous handicap you couldn't touch me... :P

James I dont know why you submitted your list as I knew it months ago :)

Nah I wouldnt do that.. My list has been finished for ages now (I dont fancy playing any of the ones Ive recieved so far though lol)
Oh yea I have rigged it so you get to play Toby 3 times ;)

Theres some interesting stats on armies so far, I wont say anything yet though. Theres also 2 nearly identical lists lol.

Name & Shame!

Toby, 3 lists, you naughty man, is that 1 per opponent? Or do you have one for playing IG, one for GK, and one for everyone else? I don't want to play Toby 3 times, I need a challenge...

Serious face.. nah.. I'm still flipping a coin like a little girl over lists.. although taking the bike one and going for the lols of "WTF did I just do!!!" will be more amusing, than just mechanically perfectly wielding a sharpened blade.. also means my bloodhammer retires undefeated.

say that when I'm drunk.. but you know when it comes to the crunch.. it was a 10 minute smack down and that included the time it took to eat the pizza.
and that was just your first slice of the crunch...you can't handle the crunch.. you know nothing of the crunch.

I'd rather play against a different list stunty
