Dropped in on them just as they had broken for lunch, so no one at the tables until Stunty re-appeared.

They were having fun with a quarters battle when I left them...

Doesn't Ljundhammer look different without his gun!

And finally met Herne in the flesh who has been painting for us at Rapier for a while now.

Estarriol What time did you leave? you seemed to ninja out of there.

Tournament didnt go quite to plan when my tourny program crashed, felt a bit :icon_scratch :cussing :new_all_coholic Managed to sort things in the end though. I think Toby will be able to do a good write up of the days events in his own unique style :)

Great to meet you fella - Good to put faces to names. Where'd you go though? I turned round from game and you'd gone!

Don't sweat it mate - these things happen. I'd suggest kicking the arse of the developer into gear, as it was a great bit of software if it worked well.

Excellent! But whose going to write one we can understand? :P

Great to catch up with folks again. Enjoyed the day. Hope the tourney table is going to be posted up wuth rankings - love to see who got where.
Well done to Andy n anyone else who was involved for the missions - I thought they were excellent. Really made a difference to the game, and using them in the tournament added an extra dimension to the scoring etc.
Looking forward to October already! :D

Riposte par excellence! - I doff my cap to your Eloquent verbiage. To be fair - we know you like words, and none of the rest of us can find the commitment, or generally be arsed.

Did you get many pics this time? Batteries were dead in my camera.... :(

Did anyone cop sight of that amazing Deldar army near the door to the hall on Sat PM - Think it must have been a clever piece of work involving masking and airbrushing - metallic blue / pink. Gorgeous! Really eye popping!

LOL I didn't know we had a case till last minute. I've been told they may donate one for the next event too. I didn't say anything about any prizes though as I wanted to keep things friendly. I'm gonna put the post up for the next event later. I'm unsure whether to put a £1 charge on the next to pay for spot prizes. Will put a poll up later too.

I think this warrants its own post so I'd like to thank everyone who came and made the weekend what it was.
I also want to give a big thank you to Nige at Gaming Figures for their generous donation of £60 in vouchers and also to Dustin at Tabletop Tyrant/Gifts for Geeks for the generous donation of one of their dreadnought army cases.
Both stores offer great service and I would highly recommend them both

@Stunty: thanks for organising the tournament
The result for mine and Toby's game if you didn't get it was:
Primary: draw
Secondary: draw
Tertiary: Sami 1430 Toby 1110 Diff 320
