Tell you what - I'll play Kate and you first using 5th ed and then you'll not be going in "blind" to the team game Kate can help out in our apoc game saturday morning too for some extra learning.

Its a 5th ed happy list, but I appreciate your catching up on 5th and so leave it up to you (and any officer\s) which we play.As I say I think saying no escalation will assist us in finding our respective feet with so many things happening at once, and saying it won't be alpha will prevent you feeling most of your special rules will be scrapped.

Thats pretty much all we said about it..and I encourage you to have a partner whether they be a sidearm a wyrmtongue or a sage elf. I know your not used to moving more than 30 models.

I haven't actually played a game of 5th yet. In fact, I haven't had a chance to play anything since May, so I will no doubt be all over the place!

I've only played a handful of 5th ed games but 4th is already a distant memory. I've probably got a confused approach to the game though

We're still learning the basic rules really. I surprised myself last night by winning my first ever game
