I shall need to talk to my mate, he may want to come too though. I should be seeing him this weekend. If I can come, I'll try to be there on all three days.

Spoken to my mate. I shall be staying with him for this weekend, but on the condition that he can come along to the meet up as well. He does play (IG and Tau IIRC).

Both days of the weekend definitely. Monday I'm not so sure about, February is a busy month for my work.

Maybe it should be a Doubles Tournament with playing partner randomly drawn?!

Whilst all for another tourney, especially something fun involving doubles.or just carnage missions where you have last man standing..you remember when we did that vs keith LH?..i thought it worked quite well)
I do kind of have to stick a point up for the non tourny-ers ... in that in a more casual.. less organised environment.. we almost never used all tables.. and there was a lot of waiting around for X to finish game Y or finish lunch or yada yada..if the non tourney delegation optimises its space a bit more..we could probably manage (hot desking, people due to have games having lunch at the same time (possible not 12)
That said I still reckon a gentle tourney is the best way for our shy members to be sure they get a game..

I want to have a game with a tray.. (1500, then you may add 250 from one of 2 previously allocated lists, tailored to fit the situation)The web abounds with talk of this kind of game...although I personally would find it more funny if I had to dice between list A or list B addon. Anyone else played one..anyone got any fixes to it? With 2hour limit I guess some folks would say 1250+250 so as to keep it all tight? Just a wild idea whilst cooking a pancake
Barely even lurking..

Hence my question somewhere......(old thread I think) about the right "attitude" :)

I was intending to put something non-GT style down whether it's Singles or Doubles. :)

I'm going to have a stab are arranging accomodation this weekend so I need anyone who is yet to confirm accomodation requirements to do so.

Unless you tell me otherwise, I'll get each person a single room (I know people have shared twin rooms in the past).

If there's a cost benefit or a space issue, Red Devil and I will quite happily buddy up.

Hotel bookings have been made as per the list in the first post.

Room rate for single w/shared bathroom is £25 per night for those who requested that option.

Now we need to start planning some games... and there was mention of a tournament...

As per the SM Exhibition thread, if you want a game of AI and have a free slot on the Saturday I'm up for a game :)
