Just to ease you guy's worries.

There is currently no snow in Nottingham. There is snow in Leicester, but all the main (and not main) roads are clear & there are are no snow issues in the region.

Have fun!

Some of that is down to good old king snot..who discovered a marsh and decided the festerous lump would be a good place to call home.. (not sure GPS wise where that settlement was in relation to the current CBD or sand caves.. apparently the ducal mansion (17th cent, was actually built on top of the original castle-- showing that everyone since forever has been dumb enough to build upon the sand... ) Its (a reason) why the long eaton flood plain is so rarely snowed in. (like coastal towns its all down to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTjnhS96Nyo - although here meterologically sparta are the cliffs of dover  and I was attempting a rhyming clue ).. Note not actually acurate, or strictly true, just an attempt at humour.

I've put it down to the sheer volume of power stations in the area, but you have a point.

Why are the power stations all built round here anyway? Is it to make sure that Spack's Forgeworld collection doesn't run out?

Coal, lace (my line came here for that), industrial revolution.. all were kind of based around the mills that came around here due to the rivers (motorways of yesteryear)..
We've got to have all the power stations otherwise the geography of the midlands wouldn't make sense (all the random council estates stuck in the middle of nowhere due to their proximity to a seam of coal)

Not sure, but if it does, then it's impossible to roll 4 times, as that's re-rolling a re-roll.

Ditto on some Guardsman backpacks off the heavy weapon sprues (8 backpacks)?

Yeah, that's me.
I have grenades, bolt pistol holsters, laspistols, some wolfy bits and a couple of cadian legs (that's 4 legs, not 2, which equals 2 people of course).

I keep them locked up to stop them running out ...

Bad news though .... it looks like I'll have to remove all my 40k stuff from my PC/gaming room, and move it to the attic. Goods new is that I have managed to clear some space up there, and once the floor is screwed down properly it'll be my gaming/storage/attic room.

I have to turn the gaming/PC room into a 3rd bedroom :( I still haven't figured out where the PC is going though.

Behind the TV as a multimedia hub(build a little box if security or pretty is an issue), then do work from a laptop (remote)..
Most of my stuff is now on high shelves in the living roof (understanding wife) or attic.
So is this arrival of number 3 or are 2 not getting along so well?(different gender getting to awkward age)
As soon as my sister had a room to herself she had a friend (whose family were vanishing) move in with her.. so she was still sharing just with someone else.

Of course those loose screws.. perilous.. I'll take all your stuff and you only have to pay me one dollar.

OK, Jon and I are about to leave. I had to de-case a load of my marines as I don't have enough cases to store/carry everything. Marines out, daemons in:

And I've got everyone's stuff in the pile

Lappy is dead ... although I could get a wireless mouse and keyboard, and have the 22" monitor on top of the 32" TV until the 50" comes along; at which point the 50" becomes the monitor :D

I've got loads of shelves full of DVDs, so no chance of squeezing in more with 40k stuff on.

Awkward age time for them both. My daughter is 10, so is hitting the awkward point in sharing a room with her 5 year old brother when she stays over. Plus my mother-in-law uses the spare bed in my son's room when she stays, so if my daughter is here too then she ends up on a mattress on the floor in our room. Turning the gaming/PC room into a 3rd bedroom is pretty much a must now.

Loose screws? Are you questioning my DIY capabilities? :P

I've already put in a larger access hole with sprung wooden folding staircase and railings, and the floor is half done - just need to move stuff around to get the rest screwed into place. I need to add some insulation panels into the rafters and add either fibreboard or plasterboard panels, there's already a velux window in the roof so it has light during the day, and then it'll be clean enough for me to shift all my gaming stuff up there. I might even be able to get a gaming table up there too ...

I'll be taking my camera, so even if I don't get to play I'll still have plenty to do :P Oh, and the obligatory box of stuff to trade/sell/giveaway :)
