Spack - I guess it's too late to think about dice for this year's event?

Aye, too late. I did toy with having some large ones done on the quiet and handing them out at the event, but the past few months have gone by in a blur and I lost track of what I was doing. I might still get some sorted after the event if anyone is interested, as an anniversary souvenir.

If everyone is there for 10 when the hall opens we will start the tournament as quickly as possible..

I'd suggest were there on the dot or if not before in order to swipe some tables as we have none reserved this year. (Ratted open gaming-grrrrr!)

FYI there is another Forum that I moderate on also meeting there so there could be a lot of pressure on tables.

Count me in as interested. I am very proud of my AoS 2008 & 2009 dice, they are used as turn markers and are on the table for every game!
Maybe do a thread to see what interest you have? Same design as either of the 2 previous would be okay with me (changing the year though! :D ).
Hate to see what has been an annual tradition fold this quickly. If I can do anything to help, let me know. I can't get to the weekend from this side of the pond but at least getting the commemorative die makes me feel like I was a part.

Send a bogus news item to the other forum from "GW";
"Due to an unfortunate leak from the WC in the gaming room, there will be a delay on the Saturday opening."

You don't have to specify that the leak occurred in Ruffian's game room, do you? :twisted:

When they get there and ask, just say the message was sent to the wrong forum in error! :mrgreen:

Then tell them that they must have missed getting the errata ad FAQ! :rofl

Got back from the bookies, put a £10 bet on me winning the tournament!
Of course, I won't actually be there, but that's how confident I am!

My lads are off to rock city on the Saturday night. Other than that probably hang around Bugmans till they sweep us up.

Given the experience of the Hylands hotel on a Friday night, I reckon a trawl of the local boozers could be fun! ;-)

Looks like I won't make it on Monday now, but I am still coming for the weekend. I'll need to wind down after Friday, especially as I'm going to have to start wearing a shirt, tie and trousers to work. :(
