I used PVA neat on the CD itself, and then sealed the sand with watered down PVA, worked fine. Then again the "CD" I used is the clear blank from the top of a spindle of CDs, but it should be the same with a normal CD/DVD anyway.

I've posted my pic. Must make a note to not paint on the final night again in future, as trying to take decent pics in artificial light is a bloody nightmare.

Finally got mine finished, just under the wire! The last of the glue and paint was drying under the photography lamp.
The other entries I saw at look great! Nice job done by all.
Good luck to all the contestants. :D (Myself included  )
Let the voting begin.

Very, very difficult to choose. I feel a bit bad I couldn't place a 4th vote! It really was coming down to little finishing touches to separate the my votes.
Excellent.

Power gen votes

Really hard to choose - some excellent work boys. Wished I had time to get mine done - damn job!!! The markers are getting more complex all the time - we're practically on whole dioramas now!

I'll second this, I'd like to see the WIP pics of everyone who didn't get an entry in but at least started their entry. :)

Absolutly! I posted WIP for the first 2 competitons even though I didn't get them finished in time. Just going back over the two of them today to finish them up. Then I'll post up a pic of the whold set at some time in the future.
We all did too much work on these things not to show them off. :)

Nothing stops you making the missing one ... just make sure you post pics if you do though. :)

True.
It,l be nice to have the full set.

Will see about doing it at the same time as the ammo dump.
That way i can diversify the creative juice.

(that sounded so wrong, i know)

Ammo, dump, and juice all in one post - I'm amazed ruffian's double entendre alarm didn't kick off the second that was posted!
