Pics taken and uploaded. I can stop panic-painting now and concentrate on compiling the delibrately silly Necron force I'm going to take against BDA tomorrow night.

Although I should probably go downstairs and help with the vast pile of ironing...

gah! what happened? *rubs eyes*

it appears i fell asleep on the sofa. consider my candle offially burnt at both ends already.

looks like i will have to finish painting my Termi's base in the morning (probably for the best, as i will have non-tired eyes). as long as he is finished before i lose the daylight outside, i should be OK (i was hoping to take the photos by sunlight, after the lamp difficulties we had with the Objective comp).

p.s. @ Matt: what is this "i-ron-ing" you speak of? :?

Was gonna replace my pics for my ork but changed my mind!!! Took some extra pics but they just dont seem to wanna come out right!! Reckon I'm gonna experiment with the two lamp thing or do some outside in the daylight!! Either way gonna have ta stick with the ones I've posted for the comp!!! Thanx for the advise tho people!!
Happy with me terminator, i was going for a simple flat colour using layers of Bleached bone watered down and mixing a little Skull white in progressively. The ork is ok but some detail lost with my dodgy photograhpy.
Anyway good luck people hope everyone is having as hard a time as I am on deciding where my votes are going!!

While mine are ready (orka nd termie), I can;t be having with sorting photos out, especially with the crap lighting in my room. But I will say this, they;ve reminded me how much fun painting is. So thanks guys.

Even bad photos are better than no photos! Do you have a lamp you could use in addition to your main light?

Glad you had fun - I hope everyone did :)

i put my Termi on a sheet of white foam board, with a folded piece of printer paper as the backdrop, and put him on top of my fridge to take a pic using the light from the fluorescent tube in the kitchen. i used the flash on the camera as well, but stepped back (zooming in to compensate) so that it wasnt too close. pics came out OK IMO. :)
