AoS Warhammer World Weekend 7/8/9 Aug 2009

The next AoS Warhammer World weekend is on the 7/8/9 Aug 2009. (original discussion here)

We have 10 tables booked, with a variety of scenery, plus an Apocalypse table. If we need more tables I will book them, but I'll need confirmed numbers of attendees so if you are definitely coming please post a "I'm coming" reply to this topic and I'll keep this post updated with the running list.

RULES: GW have a few rules we need to comply with, pretty much what you'd expect and nothing restrictive. (1) All models must be at least undercoated, preferably with an attempt at a base coat; (2) No eating in the gaming hall, drinks are fine but no glass; (3) anyone 18+ who look under 18 will need to bring ID if they want to be served alcohol in the bar; (4) if the fire alarm goes off it will be real, leave all minis and muster outside the front of the hall; (5) all injuries need to be reported to the shop, bar, or security, and first aiders are available at these locations. Hotel: Last year many of us stayed at the Rufford Hotel in West Bridgeford. I'll be organising rooms there again this year, if anyone needs a room please let me know so I can get the list together ASAP and book them early.

We are staying at the Rufford Hotel again. Address: 53 Melton Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. Single rooms are £35, twin and double £45, including full English breakfast. We should also be able to use the breakfast room for playing MtG/40k etc on the Fri and Sat nights (although some of us, including me, are off to Rock City on the Sat night, anyone wanting to join us are welcome to come along). I've booked the following, if changes are required please let me know ASAP. Anyone not on the list has not got a room booked and will need to contact me to get the booking amended.

Well. I checked and its $850 in flight costs from Arizona to London so I think I am out of luck. Would have really liked to attend though. Maybe a future meet up!

Elvis, there will be room in my car for lifts to and from the hotel. I'll have to follow someone else though to avoid getting lost!

I'm certainly up for saturday and sunday..depends on baby sitting if I can make Friday..(but 60/40 at mo)

No room required.

Keep an eye on your minis, and if you look under 25 i'd suggest driving license

(Orks are being hit by second child itus- my wife said she'd start painting them and in 2 months has put some goblin green on one orc)

We don't need hotel rooms (only be there on the Saturday), but I will be there along with Stargod, norsemantyr, Hive fleet Brawn and Caspar (unless it snows again, of course).
