Couldn't figure out what that meant, but luckily I found this site, and now I have a chance to follow the convesation. Probably some items are wrong or missing, but it's a start.
Recommend it to all the other "Yanks" on the site! :D

@Herne - Not in the cards for me to make it either for the forseeable future, I know how you feel.

It's looking like Aug is a bit of a failure. What about the 3/4/5 July? It's not a weekend I'll be able to make without some reorganising of my own, but it's the only weekend in July that we might be able to get tables booked.

The only other possible weekend in the summer is the 4/5/6 Sept, although with school looming I guess Herne won't be able to make that either.

If everyone can make the July weekend then I can try and rearrange to fit, but if not then it looks like the 7/8/9 Aug weekend is the only one that's going to fit the most members.

July is (considerably) less likely for us, while Sept would be more likely (i.e. the closer to May the less definate i can be about making it).

would a non-weekend push the price of the hotel up? and how would it change WHW/Bugmans opening times?

holidays are irrelevant to use, personally. they might affect the number of "screaming children"/how busy the gaming hall is though.

I eggcept no responsibility for this.
It's mattj's fault.
He persuaded me to keep the bloody egg, so it is now in the tower and I can't get it back out!
I've had to put it in the garden now.

Aug is looking shaky though.

Is the prospect of turning up "on spec" that fraught with danger???
I have no idea what an "ordinary" weekend is like there.
