For this dice tho, if it is to become a turn dice in the main, I would suggest putting it on the number face as it's the start of the game, so will be there longer, and turn 6 doesn't happen now in 5th alot, as its a 5 turn game with possible turn 6 and 7 on dice rolls.

I'll take one. You could use it to "Dice off" for table ends, tip aim for the head. ;)

I've had a bit of trouble coming up with ideas for the big dice, especially as I didn't want them to be to duplicates of the smaller dice. These are some rough ideas - the grey areas represent the etched area (imagine say a silver, or gold, paint here), and the blue represents the dice surface. The lines provide a rough guide to the dice surface - it's almost circular, so that's what I've used to try and fit the design into. So, comments?

how about that^, but "WHW" for Warhammer World rather than "WW"?
(afterall, "Warhammer" is abreviated to "WH", not just "W" ;))

i was wondering about that... would we be allowed to buy/sell dice with the word "Warhammer" on them? :?
("Age Of Strife" is fine as its not on GW's naughty list)

i dont want someone from WHW approaching us and telling us to put them away or anything. :(

Probably wouldn't hurt to give them a call and ask, I can't see it being a major issue, unless you used the same design.

I don't want to upset anybody or anything, but I have just recieved news from farseer girlybitz that might change the way this event is commemorated.

It should read...

2008 one week of strife

warhammer world roadtrip roadkill barbecue

nottingham general hospital contamination isolation ward get together 52% death rate* they will be remembered. Halleluya!

* Please don't pm me to see if you survive or to find out just who it was (will be) who undercooks the pig.

:eusa_naughty

Good luck everybody (body).

I've asked WHW about using "Warhammer World" on the dice, they think it should be fine but have forwarded it to the legal team who should be in touch later. So long as we don't use the actual WHW logo it shouldn't be an issue.

Just heard back from GW - can't use "Warhammer World" on the dice as the term is copyrighted. They have no problem with using WHW, or any of the ideas we've had, it's just the one term that we can't use.

I also asked about handing the dice out WHW itself and taking money off people (I was worried in case GW wouldn't allow it due to some sort of rules about trading/selling on site), and I've been told that won't be a problem at all. :)

great. is it time for a poll? and are we going to go with "WHW" over "WW"?
