Could do the 19th. Won't be 100% sure until the week before really though. June is quite a pitfall for me.

Too far for my lot.

Also, struggling to get them to attend anything for W40K at present coz they are encamped in Normandy presently, fighting through the bocage. :(

Me, Typhus and Bane are still regular 40K players and ableto travel. But anywhere beyond Nottingham becomes a real chore.

Hi All,

Well now that the Tempus Fugitives Siege of Terra is complete, I now have the time to plan and discuss the Mini AoS/Armageddon Club meetup.

It's booked for the Saturday 19th June between 11am - 7pm at the St James Church Hall, High Wycombe (will provide directions nearer to date).

Discussing with members at Armageddon Club, the consensus was to play WH40K (Fantasy on the backburner till the new rules); also people showed an interest in making it link into a longer Club Campaign.
Latest confirmation having 16 players form Club and 3 AoS players (if we can't find a 20th player I'll jump in and play as well as organise).
The Teams seem to breakdown into Good (Space Marines + Tau) vs Evil (Chaos Marines, Traitor Guard, Orks and Necrons)

Role Call goes as following:
Good Alliance
1. Ultramarines (Graham)
2. Blood Angels (Patrick)
3. Imperial Fists (Freddie)
4. Imperial Fists (JamesM)
5. Salamanders (Dan)
6. Space Wolves (ChrisW)
7. Raven Guard (JamesD)
8. Tau (Andy)

Traitor Xenos Alliance
1. Chaos Marines (Stu)
2. Chaos Marines (Craig)
3. Chaos Marines (Jim)
4. Chaos Marines (ChrisA)
5. Imperial Guard (BigJim)
6. Imperial Guard (JonQ)
7. Orks (Jamie)
8. Necron (Jon)

That leaves 2 Good and Evil slots for Mattgilbert, WolfLordHavoc and BDA to select from (if you all want to go Good then JamesM has offered to take Eldar).
So could you please PM me what you would like to bring.

The plan is to have 2 / 3 games on the day.
Starting off with a Doubles 1000pts each game - names will be randomly selected from the teams and will play 2 v 2 at Annihilation - Dawn of War. (2hr limit)

Then we will follow with a Doubles 2000pts each game (random selection possibly) playing selected Battle Mission Scenerios - will try and link it to the armies playing. (2.5 hr limit)

Depending on time maybe another 1000pt Doubles or people can just have pick up game to finish with ( some members might not be able to stay the whole day).

We are planning to order in some food (local chip shop, chinese or pizza) and provide soft drinks and look to have people pay a fee of £10 towards the cost of the day (I will be paying a deposit this week).

Please PM or reply to this thread if you have any comments or suggestions.

Cheers,
DaBoss :D

Ok - update of Roll Call

Role Call goes as following:
Good Alliance
1. Ultramarines (Graham)
2. Blood Angels (Patrick)
3. Imperial Fists (Freddie)
4. Salamanders (Dan)
5. Space Wolves (ChrisW)
6. Raven Guard (JamesD)
7. Space Wolves (Jon)
8. Eldar (JamesM)
9. Eldar (Alex)
10. Tau (Andy)

JamesM do mind being Eldar instead of Imperial Fists, means we can have an Eldar BattleMission

Traitor Xenos Alliance
1. Chaos Marines (Stu)
2. Chaos Marines (Craig)
3. Chaos Marines (Jim)
4. Chaos Marines (ChrisA)
5. Imperial Guard (BigJim)
6. Imperial Guard (JonQ)
7. Orks (Jamie)
8. Necron (Jon)
9. Chaos Daemons (Matt)
10. Chaos Daemons (Phil)

Anyone else on the AoS forum interested?

So just 11 days to go before the Mini AoS/Armageddon Meetup.

Currently the two factions line up as:
For the Greater Good - Alliance
1. Ultramarines (Graham)
2. Blood Angels (Patrick)
3. Imperial Fists (Freddie)
4. Salamanders (Dan)
5. Space Wolves (ChrisW)
6. Raven Guard (JamesD)
7. Space Wolves (Jon)
8. Eldar (JamesM)
9. Eldar (Alex)
10. Tau (Andy)

Dirty Evil Scum - Traitor Xenos Alliance
1. Chaos Marines (Stu)
2. Chaos Marines (Craig)
3. Chaos Marines (Jim)
4. Chaos Marines (ChrisA)
5. Imperial Guard (BigJim)
6. Imperial Guard (JonQ)
7. Orks (Jamie)
8. Necron (Jon)
9. Chaos Daemons (Matt)
10. Chaos Daemons (Phil)

The event starts at 11am on the Saturday 19th June at:
St James Hall, Plomer Hill, High Wycombe, HP13 5NB (See attached doc for maps)
Armageddon Inc Club AoS Meetup directions.doc

Order of the day will be:
11:00-12:00 Setup tables and scenery and meet everyone, organise teams.
12:00-14:00 Game 1 - Doubles 2000pts - (1000pts per player) Pitched Battle/Seize Ground
14:00-17:00 Game 2 - Doubles 4000pts - (2000pts per player) Battle Missions
17:00-18:45 Freetime - pickup games, chat (some people may need to leave early)

Plan to order in food from local Chippy/Chinese at any suitable time between Game 1 and 2 (so times are a little flexible).
At 18:45 I would appreciate a little help with packing away/clean up.

So hope everyone is looking forward to this.
Any suggestions / questions PM me.

An important note to anyone driving in from the M40.

At the junction of the A4010 and A40 (marked as Chapel Lane on the map) you cannot take a right turn and will have to go all the way to the next roundabout to turn around.
Instead as you follow the A4010 from the motorway you will reach a double mini roundabout at the bottom of a hill by a pub called The Hourglass. Take the right hand road and go past the Chip shop visable at then end of the road. At the junction with the A40 take a right and then turn up Plomer hill to your destination.
When you wish upon a star, your dreams can come true.
Unless it's a meteorite falling to Earth, which will destroy all life, then you're pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for.
Unless it's death by meteorite.

For the Greater Good!? 1 Tau player and they still sneak in propaganda!

Thanks latd

We'll aim to be there for 11 or just before.

I take it the points are per player and not the total for one side? (so 1000 points per player game 1 and 2000 points per player game 2)
Is 2 hours long enough for a 4000 point game!? ;)
Not the way Jon plays :P
