OK!

Sounds good. How many FoC's? All FoC's from one codex, or are we allowed fluffy allies (by fluffy I mean =][= & IG for example, but not Necron & Eldar), or is it anything goes?

Would 2 FOCs do it?

Also can we use IA models?

How about:

FoCs - maximum 2
FoC size - minimum 1,500pts
IA models - allowed
Superheavies - not allowed
Flyers - allowed, but notice to be given if being used
Wargear/special rules - only affects the FoC it is purchased for/part of

Anything else?

not sure about the last point, what's it mean?

and can u make a list without allies, if not then they will have to be allowed i guess ;)

I've just tried to make 4000pt list and almost ended up just doubling my GT list :)

would love to put some IA in tho, but have very little for SM really.

He means if you take a sister of battle with book of st lucius she can't project her leadership bubble of ld 10 unmodifiable over guard and SM (of another FOC)I think (unless they are legit allies of course)
just my guess

I'm guessing not if there are no super heavies :P

Do you need a big table to play this on or will the standard 6x4 by OK?

As KMB said, using the wargear from one FoC, then applying its bonus to another. Now I've said it sounds a little restrictive, for example if you are using 2 SM armies then ruling that they can't use each other's teleport homers seems silly, BUT if taking (say) Hestan & Kantor in separate FoCs, we need to be clear about which marines have which ability.

KMBs example of the Book of St Lucius was the exact one I was thinking of

I don't know, brain fart. I'll let you decide on this.

I have no problem with that.

KInG wrote:would love to put some IA in tho, but have very little for SM really.

IA is fine, as long as it's not rediculous. I've heard bad things about the big mortars, but on the whole they've seemed weighted against the person using them.

I have never seen one of these beasts, but if Matt reckons they are similar to Superheavies, I'll go with him & say no. I'm prepared to be swayed.

I was thinking that exact thing in car on the way to work this morning.

We need to decide on the table size as it may affect whether I bring 4000pts of infantry heavy Imperial Guard (I won't  ). I reckon that 6x4 might be a little restrictive. Does 8x6 sound better?

It shouldn't affect set up on standard missions either, as I think (no book in front of me) they all measure from the centre of the table rather than the edge.

Again, I'm up for suggestions.

Ohhh, I'm getting all excited now...

Depending on how many people we have for the Saturday you might be able to bleed over onto another standard table and then play 8x4 or something. It might be better to book an 8x6 Apoc though - you can then be assured of the space.

Any of you folks regular WHW visitors? If you are it might be worth pestering the shop staff to book us our apoc tables for the three days rather than me phoning up every so often and then missing out at the last minute...

I'm not a regular, but I can tootle over & have a word with them though. It's unlikely to be before christmas though, & those days are pretty mad for the staff IIRC.

I'll do my best.

Yes, an 8x6 would be best i think.

Gargantuam Creatures: eg; Greater Daemon of Khorne from FW... An'ggarth. You'll love him ;)

I think we best kknock the IA on the head.. unless you have a decent stock pile, otherwise you may find yourself facing 5 flyers and some neat IA tanks/artillery :D

I'm gonna make an SM list up, from codex choices only... that should do for a nice big game.

Sounds good.

I'll be using some form of IG/=][= (possibly some DeathWing - but I'm trying to configure lists around what I have painted so that I don't use them, I think 4000pts of humans would look more impresive somehow...)

So no IA, codex choices only, but allies allowed :)

I think once we have our lists we should publish them to each other... only changes after that are is there was a mistake on the make up of the lists.

2 x FOC was the other thing i wanted to confirm....?
