*pops his head intot he thread*

Bristol is a good idea. Theres some good clubs around, and I have floor space for crashing. And good pubs and bars, which is what really counts.

Also, its easy for alot of people to get to, and nice and close for Tim, too.

I can probably manage February - and I'm sure the others can force themselves. Only issue for us is losing time in travelling.

Hmm personally, last week of Feb first week of March would be best for me.
Mainly as that's the only time I can guarantee myself a booked holiday. :(

hmm, the only way i would make a earlier meet up than Aug 09 would be if i could attach it to the end of a course!

However, would anyone like to add more features to the Meet-up 09, eg: other game systems, i would love to get to grips with any of the specialist games!

I might be able to manage that. Weekend of the 14th is out though - not only is it Valentine's, but I'm at a Judas Priest + Megadeth + Testament gig that night ;)

Kate wont be able to make it to the big meet-up later in the year, so Feb would be good for us as it will mean we should both be able to come (will probably be her last chance to do any travelling until the end of the year, at the very earliest).

we are planning on going to Dan's in Jan too, and theres the Bristol meet idea to sort out too. :)

How does the 6th, 7th and 8th Feb 2009 sound for a meetup in WHW?

should be fine, but Kate cant book holidays past Xmas yet, so we wont know for sure (as we would be able to give them plenty of notice, though, its unlikely that she wouldnt be able to get the time off).

cheers :)

OK no one else has replied... is that lack of interest or because this is buried at the end of a thread? I'd start a new one to see what interest there is... but I can't create new threads in the events forum :(

I expect that I'll be able to make it. KMB would probably be up for it too.
