Maybe you and I should go on a reconnaissance mission to maelstrom some evening/afternoon to check it out and play a quick game.

This is a fairly dated post from the MGs lot to warseer when they were briefly thinking again of having another get together(which IIRC didn't happen) Including contact details, what they offer and where they were at in building.(which I presume has come along way since).

Our March event is fine - no cost except the meals we want. I've already confirmed this.

I'll be attending the Tempus Fugitives campaign weekend - will take photos and post up my thoughts of the venue afterwards.

On a side note - planning out my social/gaming calendar for the year and I maybe able to attend in September.

The updated WHW pricing and event information is released on the 10th Jan. I'll post details as soon as I'm told what they are.

Those prices were the correct new ones so unless we all fancy chipping in, WHW looks off the cards for an organised event with booked tables. We can still turn up and hope to grab as many tables as possible but that's no way to run a tournament should we want to.

We should investigate alternative venues for the future.

Matt, have you got a copy of the costs PDF that you can send over? The link on Warseer doesn't work any more.

Does this potentially mean that individuals turning up have to pay for tables? If not could we potentially just make several phonecalls to book several tables separately and then just turn up to play as before?

I don't think you can book tables unless you are having an organised event. Otherwise it's first-come-first-served. I may be wrong.

'Exciting things happening there at GW' That's right - they've found another way to shovel money into the GW wheelbarrow. Disgusting.
