King+crew Vs Angelwing and an some others? (I haven't heard who's taken dibbs on spack yet) this is just like the maharabata do you choose a gods weapons- or a gods wisdom  (if i remember it correctly wasn't he strictly speaking his chauffer?)

Equipment wise I should be sorted -

tape (maybe 2)
templates (2 x normal, 1 x Apoc)
markerlight
mini laser level (to use when the markerlight just isn't enough :P)
dice (as well as aos a couple of sets of 12mm d6, plus a couple of sets of vehicle dice and some big gun and apoc dice)
cotton wool for smoke
counters
rulebooks
codexes
faqs (i've printed off 10 copies of each including FW ones)
reference sheets (again, i'll be bringing 10 of each)
imperial armour books
camera
spare batteries
battery charger
glue
clippers
craft knife (the last 3 for repairing figs as I'm bound to get at least one dropped on the floor)
laptop (with army builder and excel)

Hopefully this list will remind people what they might need.

ive got my dice, glue/tools, tapes, markerlight, books/FAQs/army lists/reference sheets, Templates/Blast Markers, counters/markers, etc.

ive made a quick '90/45 degree arc' template (for fixed vehicle weapons in 4th/5th), and i want to make one of these:

ive got a simple 2" one already, but i think this will come in really handy. 8)

Yes, but the 1" away + 2" coherency + 3" consolidation = D6 consolidation results. One template covers all the possibilities! :D

yes, unless im using the Plague Zombies (and maybe the IG vs Ruffian using my Cult).

plenty of people put "both" down for their ruleset. ;)

IMF2000 wrote:Seems a little extreme 8O

how so? (GF9 makes these kinds of things...)

its far easier than trying to squeeze a tape measure between models when measuring small distances, and you can use them to "sweep" an arc from a model, like when checking how many models are engaged, or making sure everyone is within range when disembarking from a transport.

you just plonk the correct end down between the models and see if it touches both bases. easy peasy. :)

Of course we can trust him, 8) especially if we use your tape measure to double check
