erm, not entirely sure when the new holiday forms will turn up. its normally early to mid jan, and a mad scramble on the first day to get them back in to have any real hope of getting what you want.

@Angelwing: I imagine it is like my work, a scramble for key dates, beauty about a long weekend is we dont have to book during key holiday times :)

hey all,

A quick bump, I noticed i forgot about AW's jan notification for leave..... :( my apologies!

So, dates? I am happy at the end of the day to host one person + g/f, wife. More the merrier obviously!

Those with kids, when is UK half term in October? that could be a good possibility? what you think?

my wifes school half term in October is mon 27th - fri 31st
im guessing most schools will be that week so the half terms are not too unbalanced

half term, the airlines will slaughter you on prices.
i think i'll be okay with whatever day you choose in october as its a slow month for holiday
