Which Book for Late War Brits?

Which Book for Late War Brits?

Postby markb » Mon May 19, 2014 11:09 am

As the title says. I know they used to do Montys Meatgrinder for the Battle of Caen and Operation Goodwood but they seem to have stopped doing it. So what is the book I would need to put a Brit army out for Late War. I'm not interested in Guards, just a standard infantry/armour company that can include Fireflies. I know the core book has lists in there and I could probably use that but I would prefer maybe a more specialised one if it's available.
"The guns have stopped because we are at last about to attack. Even our generals aren't mad enough to shell their own men, they think its far more sporting to let the Germans do it!"

Capt Edmund Blackadder, the Somme, 1917.

Just had a look on that website, it's 11th Armoured I was after so think I'll get Overlord. Again, thanks for the heads up.

Not got it yet, mate. I may take you up on your offer but I'm only interested in unpainted models, I'm a bit funny like that. First things first though, I'd have to get a copy of Overlord and figure then army out. My latest vow is to only buy what I will be using and can realistically paint!

Have you had a look at the Flames of War website?

Lots of good info and articles on there.
