Model: still nice

Colour scheme: not my cup of tea

I have two issues with Warpath at the moment:
1) not sure the first three races interest me, Forgefathers might if only because I think the background is cool and being so Elite I won't need that many models. I'm kinda feeling a mostly gold-based scheme tying the Norse mythology to the scenic shots from the recent Thor film.
2) The rules really haven't convinced me so far....

1) could be a subset of 2) though, time will tell.

At least I'll be able to use my GW Renegades as Corp anyway and still play.

I don't think that paint scheme does the model justice... much like many of the Mantic models, unfortunately.

Now, I'm not saying I could paint any better, but I do feel Mantic are selling themselves short...

The painters have the skills but I consistently find their colour selection/combination to be out of kilter.

I'll swap the blue for red when I do mine. I think that red/gold (or bronze) will look a lot better.

Oh and dip them of course! :)

Ljundhammer still cowering away from KOW( anything-goes/a-challenge-for-ljundhammer-t5419.html?hilit=ljundhammer ).. and is trying to long grass it all by trolling and saying warpath must be awesome.
Get back into that thread and call him out hill-billies!!

There's about 8 people bringing KoW to the meet so if Ljund us there he doesn't really have an excuse!
