Next KoW armies

After Orcs... this from Warseer
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showpost. ... count=1704

Evil/Dark/Naughty Elves.
-Dark Elves will be a metal-plastic hybrid army based on the "good" plastic elf sprues initially, but Ronnie feels they could do well enough to get dedicated plastic sprues of their own at some point.

Humans.
-Humans will be 'Neutral' with a mix of Good & Evil styles to allow for easy army mixing.

Ogres.
-Will have a small release of miniatures compared to the other KoW armies.

Goblins.
-Yep. According to Ronnie, Goblins will have an army all their own.

I'm almost certainly going to Salute in a couple of weeks, any questions if I get a chance to chat to them?

Are they aware of the fan army lists out there (like I'm collating on Warseer) and do they every consider using ideas from them?
Do they plan any additional scenarios packs, siege rules etc for the game?
A full colour hardback KoW armies and bestiary book for all official lists and rules would be lovely (at some point) :)

I'm sure they will do but the guys are all ex GW so that's what they know. Plus if you want to tap into an existing market to build the fan base, offering an alternative to what they already have is a good place to start.

I expect once things are more established we'll see some more Mantic inspired creations with more diversity and originality.

I think it's fair enough for them to play it safe whilst they establish themselves.

I'm slightly more concerned about their fluff at the moment TBH.

:) Dwarfs = good departure from the norm by being expansionist rather than isolationist (and 3 "good" types of Dwarf).

:) Abyssals = decent (greed got the better of them and they abandon Dwarfish culture).

:| Elves = a dying race, standard Fantasy archetype

 Mhorgoth = Nagash + Malekith even including some sacred flame bathing.

 One of the Elf characters = Eltharion.

I've been following them since the Elf release and theres been undead, dwarves, abysmal dwarves, orcs. I'm just a bit bored of seeing the same things, they've got the eyes of the gaming community they need to have some balls and give us something different. I lost a bit of faith in them putting orcs on boars.. surely they could have given us something new..

I agree about the fluff I think its a very important part of the hobby..

Its a bit tricky to do ork stuff that is not too comic..
I sat around for all of 2 seconds and came up with orks riding their own bogey slime for fast attack, I imagine devs have equally insane ideas then have to stick it back in the box, meaning they ride some dumb low class animal such as a gaint pig.
Barely even lurking..

A quadrapedal troll-like creature could have done it for example. I'm sure a leaf through D&D Monster Manuals and similar could have found something ;)
