I've seen a lot of people complaining about how the Forge Fthers are difficult to win with as they are so slow. With the changes to the rules stopping them from forming a shield around the ball carrier (ar at least leading to fouls being called), they are apparently hard to use. I'm willing to give it a shot though!

you dont need to form a shield i know someone who uses dwarves to smash his opposition down and then while they are down run with the ball..

...and on a side note personally speaking if you form a shield wall then you sir are a douche...(not aimed personally just my opinion)

lol! Yeah, I get it - it was not something I have ever done, as I have never used them - just a tactic discussed to counter their low speed! :D

because of their 3+str on guards/jacks (and for some reason the strikers....) i dont think you need to worry about blocking the ball just give it to a jack...position your strikers and then slam your way forward
