Glad to hear that you had a good result at the Battlefields event, I almost went but decided against buying a ticket as the new guard wouldn't have been available and I didn't fancy getting the eldar out again. BTW - we all know that you make a longbeard look like he has a close shave - so drop the ...

Chaos sneak victory over valliant Imperial Defenders

It was a Bank Holiday Monday, and therefore our regular club night was replaced with a day long garage gaming session. This pitted the Imperial might of James, James and Graham vs the chaotic hammer blow of James, James and Paul. A cunning scenario had been devised requiring the chaos scum to assaul...

Thanks for the feedback on the scenary pieces. In fact the main purpose of the pictures was for us to demonstrate to our fellow club members how well the roads tied together the often random placement of buildings. The piece in picture 5 is a work in progress for a shrine/park area, when finished th...

See - I told them that the roads would be the thing that people commented on!!

Nobody cares that they took no effort to produce compared to all the shiny buildings - I don't know why we bother :P

This has been the hardest vote I have taken part in - it came down to just a final finish on the paint job that swung my vote.

Another wonderful job of creation by all the entries - another reminder of why i should spend time making models not just pushing them round a gaming board!!

Did we mentioned that the penalty for even discussing the "game that shall not be named" is that you have to reroll all successful armour saves in your next 3 games.

BTW I accept your challenge for next week.

After disobeying orders again we have been locked in the garage for the last few months steadily producing more scenary. Thanks for the ideas. The vypers were actually the last minute add to this list, however I think that if i take KMB suggestion to lose a sqaud of DA then I don't need the wave serpent for the one I keep. KMB suggestions - all noted - only slight difference I think I will try is keep the 2 war walker...

I've never had such a hard job to pick a top 3.

Is it just me or have the standards been improving a lot over the last competition or 3?

Well done all of you!!

Trim Eldar 1750 into 1500

I got talked into playing a 1750 point game last week and liked the way that my list peformed (it helped that I won the game). I have another 1750 this coming monday. The challenge is how to trim this list to get it back down to 1500 without losing the balanced feel. HQ – Eldrad Ulthuan 210 HQ – Ava...
